Nox is a low-ranking officer who only wants to be peacefully fired from the brutal Demon King’s army. He skips guard-tower duty and somehow makes the enemy scouts retreat instead.

About this story
In ten days, the strongest hero will attack the Demon King’s castle. Nox dreams of getting fired peacefully and moving to the countryside to grow vegetables. He cannot simply say he wants to quit, so he tries to damage the army badly enough to be dismissed. Somehow, every attempt becomes a success instead. In episode one, Nox skips guard-tower duty and takes a nap, only for enemy scouts to mistake the empty tower for a trap and retreat.
One episode equals one day: a countdown comedy following the ten days before the strongest hero reaches the Demon King’s castle.
